How to use the dry ice cleaning facility checklist
Mark each planning item as documented, not yet documented, or unknown. Choose documented when a named person or supporting record is available. The tool separates the items you have documented from those that still need attention.
Assign owners to open items
The report suggests a department to involve for each open item. Replace that suggestion with a named person at your facility. Collect the equipment list, access plan, working hours, utility information, and inspection requirements before the planning call.
Review utilities and work-area controls
The selected equipment and nozzle determine the compressed-air requirements. Confirm those requirements with the contractor. Dry ice handling and blasting also require a site-specific review of ventilation, CO2 exposure, personal protection, and nearby activity. The checklist does not calculate ventilation capacity or establish exposure limits.
Use the output as a planning handoff
A completed checklist records your answers. It is not a work permit, a complete risk assessment, or a safety certificate. Share the report with the contractor and the person responsible for the site. Resolve the scope and responsibilities before confirming the work.
