CLEANING APPLICATION

Fleet Graphic Adhesive Dry Ice Cleaning

Fleet graphic adhesive dry ice cleaning for adhesive residue on vehicle surfaces in NJ, NY, PA and DE.

Precision Dry Ice Cleaning provides fleet graphic adhesive dry ice cleaning for adhesive residue on vehicle surfaces in NJ, NY, PA and DE.

Deposits removed from fleet graphic adhesive

We target adhesive left after graphics or labels are removed, including tacky films and aged residue on specified vehicle panels. Intact film, paint condition, staining and color differences beneath graphics have separate de-identification requirements.

Operational benefits

  • Clear agreed adhesive residue before the next graphics or finishing step.
  • Reduce repeated solvent wiping and hand scraping on approved panel surfaces.
  • Group similar panels and vehicles while recording each retained finish.

Non-toxic dry ice and eco-friendly cleaning benefits

Dry ice is a non-toxic cleaning medium. Dry ice blasting cleans with solid CO₂ and compressed air without detergents, solvents, wash water or added abrasive grit. Its environmental benefits include no chemical rinse water and no spent blasting media from the blasting step.

The dry ice turns into gas. Removed deposits still require collection, and ventilation and protective equipment remain part of the cleaning setup.

Separate film from fleet graphics adhesive removal

Tell us whether the graphics remain intact, have already been peeled, or are brittle and breaking into pieces. Identify the film manufacturer if known, approximate installation age, vehicle panel material, and whether the paint is original or refinished. A result on one panel should not be assumed for an entire mixed-age fleet.

Cold Jet describes adhesive and label-removal applications. Those examples support testing the deposit; they do not establish compatibility with every automotive paint system or prove that complete vehicle graphics will release with dry ice alone.

Make paint preservation part of the test

  • Choose a representative area with the fleet owner’s agreement.
  • Inspect the existing paint, clear coat, repairs, edges, trim, and nearby seals before work.
  • Evaluate film release and adhesive removal separately.
  • Agree what residual staining, color variation, or further finishing would mean for acceptance.

Removing a graphic does not promise that its outline will disappear. Differences in the underlying finish or existing damage may remain visible after the adhesive is gone. Do not quote a like-new appearance from photographs alone.

Compare the full de-identification process

If heat, manual removal, an approved cleaner, or another method is part of the current workflow, include those steps in the comparison. The solvent-cleaning comparison explains why a small adhesive patch and a fleet-wide project can favor different approaches.

Record setup, film removal, adhesive cleanup, inspection, and any additional finishing separately. For multiple vehicles, group them by graphic and paint condition before setting a production schedule. A first-unit test can establish a scope without promising the same result on every vehicle.

Prepare a fleet graphics adhesive removal inquiry

Send vehicle count, body types, graphic coverage, installation history, representative photos, and the intended outcome: rebranding, sale preparation, lease return, or another handback. Identify access, parking arrangements, and the owner’s inspection requirements.
